2025 FOUNDATION ART CLASSES
Starting in February, We will be offering two options for beginners and up.
Two times are offered and will begin in February and run through May for the Winter/Spring session

DRAWING
(This class is now closed, check back for next available date)
In this class the student will explore the foundations of drawing to include line and value techniques along with basic elements of art and principles of design. Students will use still life, landscapes and more to render images in a realistic manner to start with and then they may render in a style of their choosing. Students will be encouraged to integrate art into the everyday life by establishing a sketchbook practice and observing the world around them through the eyes of an artist.
Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Daytime class meets from 10 am-12 pm on Thursdays
Dates: February 6,13,20,27, March 6, 13 (6 weeks)
Evening class meets from 6pm-8 pm on Tuesday evenings
Dates: February 4,11,18,25, March 4,11 (6 weeks)
Cost: $160
Class size: Maximum of 10 students. Minimum of 5 students for class to be held!

Intro to painting
You can choose to use oil or acrylic, but demonstrations will be done in oil.
Students will be developing painting skills and knowledge through foundation exercises with value, color relationships, paint mixing, brush skills, and composition in order to get started or reengaged on their artistic journey.
Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate
DAYTIME

TUESDAY PAINTERS*
An Independent painting class. If you have already taken some foundation classes here or somewhere else and feel comfortable with the basics but want to continue to grow in your painting, this class is for you! Choose your own subject matter and medium-watercolor, acrylic, mixed media or oil paints and work independently with
instruction in a class environment.
2025 Winter/Spring will be focusing on plein air techniques, for those interested. Any demonstrations will be done in oil, but you are welcome to work in whichever medium you wish.
Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced
When: Monthly Class, classes start back February 4th
(This class meets weekly beginning February 4th through May 20th for Winter/Spring session. Class is ongoing throughout the year with quarterly breaks)
Time: Mondays, 10 am-12 pm

2024 SATURDAY WATERCOLOR
Partial preview of each month's painting will be posted prior to class.
This class is for All skill levels! Anyone who wants to have some paint time, have fun and meet some new people. We will work on watercolor techniques while painting a different subject each lesson.
All materials will be provided. You can choose to draw your subject on your own or transfer the subject of the day from a pre-drawn drawing onto your watercolor paper.
If you will be using the drawing from the studio, please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class to allow time to transfer.
Skill Level: All
When: Saturday as posted (See below date for each month)
Time: 10 am-12 pm
Ages: Adults
Cost: $45 (+tax) each class
Class size: Minimum of 5 students for class to be held.
SUPPLIES INCLUDED or bring your own brushes and paints.
